Public Safety/Smart911

The City of Mt. Pleasant’s Public Safety Division is responsible for the overall safety, health and well-being of our community. Police, Fire, Emergency Management, Code Enforcement as well as neighborhood and youth services all play a critical role.

Through continual training, our staff is prepared to handle all emergencies with the highest level of professionalism, integrity and compassion.

Community engagement is a key priority. We host the Youth Police Academy, Cram-a-Cruiser toy donation events, and Public Safety Nights. We provide free home fire safety assessments, take pride being present in our schools, and sharing vital security information with our business community.
