Youth Police Academy
This free program, conducted for three weeks in July, offers youth going into grades 6-8, an up-close view of the skills and necessary training required for law enforcement officials. During the month of May, applications are available at the Division of Public Safety building, or the school's Principal's office.

Prescription Drug Drop Off
Unused or expired prescription medication can be dropped off anonymously, 24-hours a day, seven days a week at the Public Safety Building located at 804 E. High Street. A mail slot is located in the lobby for safe disposal.

Vacation Security Checks
The MPPD will check on your house while you are away on vacation. If you are interested in using this free service please complete the Vacation/Security Check Application and submit it to the MPPD. Please notify the MPPD if you return home earlier than planned.
