Registration for 2023 Summer Camps Begins Tuesday, February 28, 2023.
These cold days have us dreaming about summer months, and our staff has been busy planning for Summer 2023! Our registration will open up this year on Tuesday, February 28th at 8:00am. Registration will take place in person at City Hall, 320 W. Broadway.

PEAK Summer Camps and School’s Out Day camps are open to residents of the city of Mt. Pleasant and its surrounding area who have completed developmental kindergarten through sixth grade (participants must have turned 5 on or before December 1st, 2022). Campers will spend their summer days laughing and learning as they engage in hands-on lessons, enrichment activities, physical activities and games, and weekly field trips.

This year's Summer Camps are scheduled differently than in the past:

Camp PEAK: June 19 thru 30 and July 10 thru August 4 (6-week) (no Camp PEAK the week of July 3 thru 7)
Summer Daycamp 1: June 12 thru16 (5 days)    
Summer Daycamp 2: July 5 thru 7 (3 days)
Summer Daycamp 3: August 7 thru 11 (5 days)
Summer Daycamp 4: August 14 thru 16 (3 days)

We found that our attendance dropped significantly during the week of July 4th in the past, so we are hoping that making it a Day camp week (instead of lumped in with our 6-week camp) will help our families as they will only register and pay for days that week if care is needed. Additionally, our Summer Day camps have been priced at a weekly rate in the past. This year, we are changing to a Daily rate, where parents can select and pay for only the days they will need care during those Day camp weeks. This, coupled with a second Day camp site, will allow us to offer services to more families as spots will not be filled for days that some do not need care. The daily rate/option is only available for the Day camp sessions.

Parents are encouraged to look through their summer schedules and only schedule Day camp days that they know they will need care so that we may assist as many families as possible in receiving the care they need.
If you schedule days and need to make changes to your chosen dates, you may contact our office up to 14 days before the start of the Camp you need to make changes to. You can always check the days you have registered for by referencing your original receipt or checking your Household Calendar on our online portal. Changes made fewer than 14 days before the start of a camp will not be refunded.
